A Lean-to Conservatory, sometimes known as a sunroom, is square or rectangular in shape, with a single sloped roof running along the length of an external house wall. Lean-to Conservatories are a versatile choice as there are a number of side wall construction options – floor to roof glazed panels, low dwarf wall and glazed panels, or one complete brick wall and two side glazed panels - or any combination of these that works for you and your home.
The Gable Conservatory gets its name from the fact that the front of the roof doesn't slope back to the centre as in other conservatory styles, but stays upright, like the gable end of a house. A Gable Conservatory has either a square or rectangular footprint, creating versatile interior space that can be used for a variety of uses. Although a classic choice for many upmarket new build properties, this style of conservatory is a great addition to any style of home.
The Victorian Conservatory design is one of the most popular choices for homeowners of both traditional and modern properties. Its ridged, pitched roof, ornate ridges and three or five faceted end creates an attractive half-rounded feature. This unusual aspect makes the external design of this Victorian style conservatory extremely pleasing on the eye, but can slightly restrict the layout of furniture internally.
The Georgian style Conservatory, with its classic flat front and a square or rectangular symmetrical shape is perfect for homeowners who want to optimise their space. A perfectly proportioned shape for many different furniture layouts, it is ideal for many a variety of uses from simple garden room to dining area or even a home office.
With their solid pillars, tall glazed windows and partially glazed solid roof, Orangeries are a stylish combination of conservatory and traditional extension. The perfect solution for homeowners who, for a variety of reasons, believe a conventional conservatory is not for them, an Orangery conservatory ticks all the boxes in terms of beauty, practicality, wow factor - and adding considerable value to your home.
The P-shape Conservatory is two Conservatory styles cleverly merged into one – a simple Lean-to forms the rectangular shape, and a Victorian or Georgian forms the curved/angular area. Ideal for detached or larger homes, a P-shape Conservatory not only offers maximum space, but also makes a real statement! The T shape Conservatories are what are known as combination style Conservatories, which means they are basically two conservatory styles cleverly combined into one. Constructed so they run along the one side of the house with a central projection in the middle, forming the T-shape.
